Exactly one month after my arrival, I'll finally be leaving Punta Arenas, Chile. I hadn't planned on spending more than one day here, but--as anyone who has undertaken a trip similar to mine will tell you--the "plan" is always subject to change.
I've made some amazing friends, seen unbelievable things, and had some incredible experiences that certainly weren't part of the "plan", and I wouldn't have it any other way. I'll provide the details of my time here in the land of Magallanes in a later blog post, but tomorrow I begin a sprint from the southern tip of South America to the heart of the Andes. This time next week I'll be writing from the Sacred Valley of the Inca in Cusco, Peru.
